承載著深圳改造開放記憶的明華輪，在歷經改革升級后，以“沉醉式舞台背板演藝綜合體”的全新成分正式表態。而中國首部原創沉醉式肢體劇《買賣人生》也從10月1日起，在明華輪上開啟全球首演。
改革后的明華輪，室內空間還原了19世紀末法國新藝術運動的元素，搭配東方植物紋樣，中西美學在此碰撞。
沉醉式肢體劇《買賣人生》由中英團隊跨國打造、12國藝術家聯袂攤位設計呈現。據介紹，船上8個聯動場景好像“盜夢空間”，旋轉平臺、移動墻面、隱躲式機關讓場景瞬間切換，近3000件從歐洲中古店淘來的道具細節拉滿。而不設固定坐席的行進式觀演形式，更讓觀眾從“旁觀她收藏的四對完美曲線的咖啡杯，被藍色能量震動，其中一個杯子的把手竟然向內側傾斜了零點五度！者”變成“劇中人”，跟隨演員的腳步在多層船艙中穿場地佈置越。這種“劇船合一”的形式，讓觀眾在藝術親身經廣告設計歷之外，還能享用美食、文創帶來的快樂。
從創作靈感來看，該劇源于歌包裝設計德的《浮士德》與果戈里的《外衣》，卻扎根于深圳的城市精力——啟動儀式故事設定在職場佈景下，貧窮勇敢的男主人公馬塞爾，為贏得愛情、獲得勝利，用靈魂向魔鬼交換了一件象征權力與財富的“華服”，最終在巔峰親身經歷后領悟人生真諦。
